Creative FM Radio Live Online - www.bssonair.co.uk
Creative FM launched an exciting new local service, at the cutting
edge of broadcast technology. This Community Radio Station is
running a live 'webcast' to listeners from all over the world,
who can 'tune in' online to hear and see what's new in Huddersfield.
Creative FM's latest virtual adventure will be online during the
last Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday of the month every
month.
Broadcast from the heart of Beaumont Street Studios in the centre
of Huddersfield, all Creative FM's presenters are local people
who have spent four weeks preparing for the webcast. Programmes,
which run throughout the day, will include local features covering
events, activities and community groups in the Huddersfield area.
Special events are also covered, such as the Huddersfield Contemporary
Music Festival and the 25th anniversary of the death of Elvis.
Beaumont Street Studios Training Manager, Jeni Vine, who has
organised the training for local presenters, praised this new
development for Creative FM, saying: "webcasting is an exciting
development for us, and will be great fun for the listeners. It
will help local people get their message across to the wider world,
as well as giving them more skills and experience in radio presenting
and technology".
Anyone with access to the internet can 'tune in' to the Creative
FM webcast, simply by going to the address: www.bssonair.co.uk.
For further information, please contact Jeni Vine at Beaumont
Street Studio, on (01484) 452013.
